Your First Visit

Your first visit with Dr McMenamin is an important consultation. For obstetric and gynaecological patients, the first visit will include a detailed medical, surgical, gynaecological and obstetric history and, usually, a physical examination.  In order to make the most of your first visit it is important to bring the following along with you:

• Valid referral from your GP (this will usually have been received in advance)
• Any prescription medications you are currently taking
• Copies of previous scans or blood test results
• Copies of previous operation notes
• A list of questions you wish to discuss

Important Update - Gynaecology

As of December 2025, we are no longer accepting new gynaecology referrals.

We understand this may be disappointing and apologise for any inconvenience. If you need gynaecological care, please speak with your GP or referring healthcare provider, who can advise you on the most appropriate alternative service for your needs.
